Welcome to the Seymour Area Arts Council website!

SAAC encourages public participation in the arts; promotes awareness of the value of the arts; and directly support arts program for our children and in our greater Seymour area communities.

The Arts Council board members have expertise in the arts, creative industries, education, community development, and nonprofit and for-profit sectors. The arts bring joy and enrichment to our lives and our families, and our goal is to ensure that they are available for everyone in our community.

Our Annual Events

Each year, the Arts Council holds several events as well as gallery showings for local artists. The annual events are:

• Antiques & Collectibles Show (March)
• Art Show (April)
• Kid's "Art in the Park" (May/June)
• Summer Concerts (July-August)
• Quilt Show (September)
• Photography Show (October)
